This does not match the stated specs for Zi8. Looking at Aptina's site I think a closer match might be the MT9P401. It is a 5 megapixel, 1/2.5 image sensor. It also matches the 1920 x 1080 @ 30fps and the 1280 x 720 @ 60fps. It's data sheet is at:<br />http://www.aptina.com/assets/downloadDocument.do?id=180Chucknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1329172333325551175.post-75657920509580098862010-04-25T15:46:23.232-07:002010-04-25T15:46:23.232-07:00Hi. I went around and around with them until they discovered that the Aptina MT9M002 spec quoted for the Zi8 is a "misprint" in the FW info in the Zi8. I could not get them to give me the correct spec info, but subsequent investigation showed that the CMOS Chip is not the same as the one in my Zi6. I waited for three weeks to get a response from Kodak when I originally questioned the fact that my Zi8 and my Zi6 service menus showed the same Aptina chip.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
